Early on

I am from the Philippines but now lives in America. I am currently based in Miami Beach, Florida.

Photography was introduced to me in 1999 when my favorite thing about being in the industry was taking notes about lighting and camera settings while being photographed as a model in New York.

I have worked with many different photographers (in any capacity I can, from film loading to lighting assistant, to make-up/wardrobe/styling assistant) — just as long I was either in front or behind the camera.

Most of these important and talented photographers in NYC became my generous mentor, who had also given me the exposure I needed to make photography a profession.

I was obsessed with taking photos that eventually, to satisfy my daily cravings for shutter, I decided that owning a talent management agency will be a good idea since would-be models and actors would show up in my office seeking my expertise.

As if that wasn’t enough, I then made sure to also work in a printing company which happened to be in the same building as my photo studio in midtown Manhattan. This is where I fully understood the whole gamut of color management.

But then, the advent of digital photography arrived, which was the most awaited opportunity as by now, my addiction to producing images has grown much more affordable.

I also engaged intensely in digital post-processing, making me more adept at making any images flawless.

I like to take photos of everything, but my favorite is portrait photography meaning boudoir, glamour, headshots, families, couples, and weddings.

Current

I have been teaching myself everything about marketing for the last five and a half years, and I’m still learning every day. I am building my business as a magazine Chief Editor for Grit and Grace Magazine, working on my own photoshoots, and freelancing with multiple photo agencies.

As an accomplished and results-oriented professional with experience driving successful marketing initiatives across diverse industries, I possess a range of knowledge and experience that will allow me to contribute to the success of our photoshoot session.
